2024 is promising to be the most “electrifying” year ever, with loads of new electric models! Although we are still waiting on more details and information, the amount of fully electric models for sale keeps increasing and diversifying.
Volkswagen iD.7
Information about the 2024 iD.4 is still quite sparse, but this electric SUV should go through a small stylistic update, especially for the lower body and the headlights.
Moreover, there seems to be the possibility of new elements aboard the future iD.7 electric sedan, like a new multimedia system with a 12- inch screen. New powertrains could also be offered, although nothing has yet been confirmed.
The Blazer EV has a truly stunning interior and exterior design. Here too, all of the features offered by this 2024 electric SUV remain unknown but, according to the manufacturer, we could expect a range of between 400 and 515 kilometers, depending on model. Moreover, you can expect features like a 17.7- inch screen, a maximum of 557 horsepower and instant torque, once this vehicle arrives on the market, which is between summer 2023 and winter 2024, depending on model.
The 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV will be arriving on the market over the course of the next few months and offer power that is estimated to around 290 horsepower, according to GM. Moreover, it offers a 480 kilometer range along with a 1,500 pound (680 kg) towing capacity. Furthermore, when using a quick charging station, the Equinox could recuperate 112 kilometers in only 10 minutes.
The first fully electric Honda SUV ever –made at the Honda design studio- will make its debut in 2024. With a generous amount of interior space, it also has an 11- inch fully digital screen for the driver –as standard offered equipment- and an 11.3- inch touch screen as well.
To date, we still do not know about range or power; this information should be revealed over the course of the next few months.
Ford will be offering a 100 % electric version of its 3- row SUV around the end of 2024. With a spacious interior that can welcome at least 6- passengers, it should also offer solid performance levels, both when it comes to power and range.
This model is not to be confused with the Ford Explorer EV that is offered on other markets, which is a compact SUV model.
For 2024, this Cadillac SUV is available in 3 trim levels: Techno, Luxury and Sport. The base price will be $ 69,798.
The Lyriq also offers rear-wheel drive versions, equipped with one engine that offers 340 horsepower, along with all-wheel drive models that are equipped with 2- electric motors, and bring power up to 500 horsepower. The 2024 Lyric offers a range of up to 495 kilometers.

2023 Volkswagen iD.4
The 2023 iD.4 stands out, among other reasons, for its attractive price and dynamic silhouette. The 2023 iD.4 specs sheet indicates a range of between 410 and 433 kilometers, along with power that varies between 201 and 295 horsepower, depending on model, and without forgetting its generous 2,700 pound towing capacity.
The Nissan Ariya is an all-new fully electric model that offers, among other things, power between 214 and 389 horsepower, an electric range that varies between 348 and 428 kilometers, along with a truly stunning design. It can welcome up to 5- passengers on board, without forgetting that some versions can even tow up to 1,500 pounds.
The all-new Lexus RZ 450e definitely has the most stunning silhouette of all Lexus models; this electric SUV will seduce you thanks to its 308 horsepower, the electric range between 315 and 354 kilometers, along with a trunk that can gobble up to 988 liters of cargo.
One of the first electric SUVs of its category, the Tesla Model Y offers a generous amount of power, which varies –depending on model- between 384 and 456 horsepower. Just as generous is the electric range of between 395 and 531 kilometers, the towing capacity that can reach up to 3,527 pounds, and the cargo space that can welcome up to 2,158 liters of cargo. These are all reasons behind why it is such a popular SUV among buyers.
Remarkable –albeit expensive- the Tesla Model X offers out of this world power that can reach up to 1,020 horsepower, along with a 536 kilometer electric range. The avant-garde design with the falcon wing doors and the outstanding towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds are also part of its strengths.
In case you didn’t know it yet, the Ford Mustang is now not only available as an SUV, but is also 100 % electric! With an electric range of between 360 and 502 kilometers, 260 to 480 horsepower, and a stunning athletic silhouette, it surely won’t go unnoticed on the roads!
Able to tow up to 2,000 pounds, the Hyundai IONIQ 5 offers powertrains that vary between 168 and 320 horsepower. Moreover, it can drive for up to 354 to 488 kilometers on one single charge. It also offers generous cargo space of between 770 and 1,680 liters, depending on if your fold down rear seats or not.
