The sensors and software of the 4MOTION system monitor the speed of each wheel several times a second. For example, if it detects that a tire is skidding, it only takes a fraction of a second for the system to send up to 50 percent of the power to the rear axle to compensate for it.

If this SUV caught your eye, you’ll have the choice of 2 engines: the first is a turbocharged 2.0-L 4-cylinder engine with 235-horsepower; or you can choose the 3.6-L V6 with 276-horsepower. Depending on the engine, the VW Atlas Cross Sport will offer a towing capacity ranging from 2000 to 5000 pounds.

Last but not least, it also offers a very a generous cargo volume that ranges between 1141 and 2203 litres.

Atlas

The Volkswagen Atlas is undoubtedly similar to the Atlas Cross Sport, but it offers 3 rows of seats and a more generous cargo volume which ranges from 1571 to 2741 litres depending on which rows of seats are folded.
