The 2024 Atlas’ new silhouette –for sale in Laval- is more stunning than ever! Among other things, you will notice large dimension air intakes, along with LED headlights and an illuminated VW logo at the center of the radiator grille.
Moreover, the new full-width light strip at the back –providing a backlight for the VW logo- is absolutely charming.
Depending on selected trim and options, you could choose to equip your Volkswagen SUV with rims with a diameter that varies between 18- and 20- inches. As for the R-Line trim, it is equipped with 21- inch wheels.
The interior is streamlined and includes high-quality fit and finishes, for a truly successful overall design. Among other things, there are metallic accents, a central floating console, along with heated and ventilated front seats, which are now offered as standard equipment.
With enough space to seat 7- passengers thanks to 3 rows of seats, the Atlas offers generous dimensions. Although official numbers for 2024 are not yet available, we get a general idea of what to expect from the new model, by looking at the 2023 dimensions:
When it comes to the available powertrains on the 2024 Atlas, you can expect a change! In fact, the V6 has been replaced with a 4- cylinder turbo with a total of 269 horsepower and 273 lb-ft. maximum torque. It is a significant improvement when compared to the 2023 version, which offered 235 horsepower and 258 lb-ft. maximum torque.
Moreover, the 4MOTION all-wheel drive system is still offered as standard equipment on the Atlas, allowing you to drive with complete peace of mind at all times, and in any road condition.
The 2023 Atlas specs sheet shows that this 2023 SUV provides you with a good energy efficiency with consumption numbers of 11.8/9.8 L/100 km when equipped with the 4- cylinder. Although 2024 official numbers have yet to be revealed, they should meet your expectations.
The towing capacity for the 2024 VW Atlas reaches up to 5,000 pounds (2,268 kg). When it comes to cargo space, it remains comparable to the last model, with a maximum of 2,735 liters. The atlas is so versatile that it's no surprise that it's one of the best used SUVs available in Quebec.
The Atlas comes with loads of standard offered added technologies, like an all-new infotainment system with a 12- inch touch screen, a 10.25- inch Digital Cockpit Pro along with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, among other things.
You will also enjoy loads of safety features like head-up display and the IQ.DRIVE system, which includes lateral surveillance, Park Assist and several other technologies, depending on selected trim and options.
As mentioned above, the 3.6 L V6 from the 2023 Atlas has been removed from the 2024 catalog. It has been replaced by a single powertrain for all trim levels. Moreover, you will enjoy ventilated front seats as standard offered equipment, a novelty you are sure to appreciate during hot summer days.
