Design and Exterior: Aesthetic Changes
The 2025 Jetta benefits from several aesthetic enhancements at both the front and the rear. Notably, there's a redesigned grille, new LED optics, a new trunk lid adorned with a light bar connecting the rear lights, similar to what can be found on other Volkswagen Canada models.

Under the hood of the 2025 Volkswagen Jetta, the 1.5 liter 4-cylinder turbo engine with 158 horsepower/184 lb-ft is back. However, the 6-speed manual transmission, which was equipped on the entry-level Trendline trim, will not return for 2025; you will need to turn to the Volkswagen Jetta Turbo (GLI) to benefit from this transmission. Note that this manual transmission has not been available since 2024 on the Golf, only on the Jetta GLI, which features even more sporty specs, with power up to 228 horsepower/258 lb-ft.

The IQ.DRIVE system is standard on all Jetta models in 2025. This includes:
