Volkswagen unveils the next generation Golf GTI
Volkswagen recently pleased performance enthusiasts around the world by unveiling the first images of the new Golf GTI. This new sports car is expected to arrive in our country in the course of next year. Just to keep you waiting, here's what we know so far.
Many details have yet to be confirmed about the new Golf GTI, but Volkswagen assures that it will be more powerful than the current GTI, whose engine produces 228 horsepower.
The Golf GTI will continue to be powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It will be available with a six-speed manual transmission or an optional seven-speed automatic. Using a system called Vehicle Dynamics Manager, the next Volkswagen Golf GTI will be equipped with a limited-slip differential and adaptive suspension.
From an aesthetic standpoint, the new Golf GTI lives up to its reputation by adopting a design that recalls its rich history. Nonetheless, the front end is more aggressive than before thanks to more stretched headlights. At the rear, the letters "GTI" are now displayed underneath the Volkswagen logo. It's impossible to go unnoticed!
Inside, technology enthusiasts will be delighted to see a huge 10-inch touch screen as a centre console, allowing for a much cleaner presentation than before. For more details about this new Volkswagen Golf GTI, don't hesitate to contact us!
